On 8 June RMPP hosted a range of stakeholders and investors in the programme in Wellington. This was a chance to celebrate our successes to date and also to share information on RMPP Action Network.

Highlights of the evening were hearing from Marton sheep and beef farmer, Brenda Stewart who spoke passionately about her and husband John's involvement in RMPP. This included being a part of the pilot extension programme and Brenda completing the RMPP-funded Agri Women's Development Trust, Understanding Your Farming Business Programme.

Jane Dewar, Head of English, at Hutt International Boys School, spoke about her involvement in both the trial and subsequently the rollout of a range of secondary school's resources aimed at getting agriculture examples into english, maths and science curriculum. Jane was very enthusiastic about the resources which she felt were well put together and easy for teachers to pick up and use. 77 schools have already registered to use the resources.
